Where we’re coming from
Two copywriters, one art director and a single phone line, above a sweet shop in Leeson Street in 1986. That was us. A few days later, we won that year’s Grand Prix in outdoor advertising. Today we operate primarily from a converted warehouse in Dublin city’s old market district, and there is rather more of everything, including people. Smart, driven people. We have more than our fair share of them, and we like to think that is one reason why clients tend to stay, including some since day one.
The World’s Leading Independent Agencies
We are delighted to have been selected in recent years by Campaign magazine for inclusion in their annual compilation of the world’s leading independent agencies. The list is published in association with TheNetworkOne, the global network of which we are a member. And in a further bout of immodesty, we are delighted to be perennially finalists in the All Ireland Marketing awards, with a track record of winning awards across a broad base of categories for our clients.
Who we are
Strategists. Art Directors. Copywriters. Social Media Visionaries. UX, Interaction and Motion Designers. Planners, buyers, thinkers of every useful sort, very savvy administrators and several data sorcerors. Together with our clients, we are happy to be part of the resurgence of Smithfield, today, once again home to a thriving and eclectic mix of art and commerce. We are not sure how many more coffee shops are required.
What we don’t do
We don’t do PR. Otherwise we are full service in the fullest possible sense of that definition. We create ideas for every medium, and none (the harp of Brian Boru on the Ryanair tailplane, for instance). We plan media. We buy media, with a very hard nose. We produce for all media. We don’t much care whether it’s online, offline, above or below the line, or in your face. We do very much care that it all starts with an idea. A good idea.
